Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

Intakt is a Chrome extension that helps users evaluate whether a prompt is a healthy use of AI. This Privacy Policy explains what information Intakt processes, how it is used, and how it is protected.

What Intakt Processes

Intakt may process the following information when used on supported AI websites:

How Intakt Uses Information

Intakt uses information only to provide its core product function, including:

Cloud Scoring

When cloud scoring is enabled, prompt text may be sent to the Intakt scoring backend for processing. That backend may forward prompt content to OpenRouter in order to generate a structured score response. Intakt does not require end users to provide their own OpenRouter key in the extension.

What Intakt Stores

Intakt stores settings and score history locally in Chrome storage so the extension can remember the user's preferences and show score trends in the dashboard.

The backend is designed to process prompt scoring requests and return results. It is not intended to build advertising profiles or sell user data.

Data Sharing

Intakt does not sell user data.

Intakt may share data only with service providers required to operate the product, such as:

Data Retention

Local score history remains in the user's browser until it is cleared by the user or overwritten by newer data. Backend prompt processing is intended to be transient and limited to delivering score results.

Security

Intakt uses a server-side API key for cloud scoring, origin restrictions, rate limiting, and request-size limits to reduce misuse. No security system is perfect, but Intakt is designed to avoid exposing provider keys inside the extension itself.

Your Choices

You can disable Intakt, disable Strict Mode, or stop using the extension at any time. You can also remove the extension from Chrome to stop all local storage going forward.
